Generator Controls Field Engineer

Job Description:

• Participate as a Regional Service Team member responsible for providing the best service for our customers across the USA
• Manage all resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property
• Support execution of retrofit projects including installation, power up, and commissioning of control solutions
• Provide technical direction and guidance to craft labor in support of a power equipment outage
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy
• Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
• Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Power generation, generator controls, and or turbine controls)
• Eligibility requires advanced experience in Field Service and Technical Advising in the Power Generation Industry
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
• Ability to travel for weeks at a time; 50% travel as required
