Virtualization Engineer

Job Description:

• Implementation and management of virtualization products and systems
• Monitor Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) environment.
• Manage and maintain legacy HCI
• Function as Level / Tier III support
• Prepares and presents written and oral reports
• Develops advanced concepts of automation and information processing
• Escalate issues to vendor and third-party entities
• Works within engineering teams and engages with experts across all technology competencies

Requirements:

• Public Trust Clearance and ITILv4 Foundation Certification by start date
• Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI)
• Nutanix HCI administration, Cisco Hyperflex, and vSAN Technology
• Experience performing systems management and integration functions
• 4-9 years of experience and bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Proven ability to work independently
• Technical writing skills with focus on architecture and security documentation
• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, and ServiceNow
