Job Title - Validation Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale/Cupertino, CA
Duration: 5+ Months

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and running data gathering and performance tests on client and third-party hardware as part of validating touchscreens. Put your creativity, hardware background, programming, and problem-solving skills to the test in a fast-paced environment.

Description:
  • Design and assemble accurate test systems including development boards and standard bench-top lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, meters, and function generators.
  • Characterize and validate electrical systems in product applications.
  • Document, analyze, and communicate test issues and processes.

Key Qualifications:
  • Experience with hands-on test execution, characterization, and/or board-level validation.
  • Familiarity with noise mitigation, including shielding and grounding, in making small-signal measurements.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Working knowledge of macOS, Numbers, Pages, Keynote, and Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Meticulous organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with client engineering teams to root-cause failures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with consumer hardware products.
  • Experience with Python script execution.
  • Able to move equipment up to 25 lbs as needed.
