Staff Software Engineer (.NET / AWS / Blazor)

Overview

Optomi, in partnership with a market leader in the financial sector, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for a fully remote position based in California. They are seeking Staff or Principal level Software Engineers with hands-on experience in .NET, Blazor, and AWS Cloud. This position would involve 40% coding and 60% architecture.

Experience of the right candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in C#/.NET

Responsibilities

• Own product architecture, quality, and delivery (60% of time); write production code (40%+ of time)
• Lead system design, technical decisions, and team engineering standards
• Mentor engineers, elevate team skills, and promote best practices
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align technical implementation with business goals
• Design robust, maintainable, and scalable APIs and services; improve reliability, performance, and developer experience
