Job Overview
We are building next-generation technology to protect and enable resilient satellite systems operating in the most demanding space environments. We are seeking an RF Electrical Engineer who wants to help design, prototype, and deliver real flight hardware that advances space survivability and mission assurance.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working close to hardware, solving complex electromagnetic challenges, and contributing across the full development lifecycle, from early concepts through integration and testing.
Responsibilities
Perform radio frequency analysis, including link budgets, modeling, simulation, and
performance validation
Support rapid prototyping, integration, and test of RF hardware
Participate in trade studies, component selection, and technical decision-making
Support troubleshooting, test campaigns, and anomaly resolution
Contribute to requirements definition, technical documentation, and design
reviews
Take ownership of radio frequency hardware from concept through test and
iteration
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of electrical engineering experience
Strong radio frequency fundamentals (antennas, propagation, modulation, link
analysis)
Radio Frequency PCB design experience
Experience with radio frequency simulation and analysis tools (HFSS, ADS,
MATLAB, STK, or similar)
Working in a lab or hardware development environment
Resides within a reasonably commutable distance to Albuquerque, NM
Preferred Qualifications
PE License
Designing and developing radio frequency subsystems supporting satellite
communications, sensing, and survivability capabilities
Hands-on development of satellite hardware
Spaceflight, defense space, or survivability programs support
Satellite communications, radio frequency payloads, or electromagnetic effects
Satellite design, satellite component design, and space flight
Familiarity with spacecraft integration and on-orbit test
Education
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field (experience level could
compensate)
Graduate degree in a related field and/or program management experience
(preferred)
Clearance
Active clearance (preferred)
Ability to obtain and submit a full background investigation (required)
