Electrical Assembler – 2nd Shift
Join Becker/SMC on 2nd Shift
Becker/SMC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical to producing high-quality electronic products that meet strict performance, safety, and customer standards. Perform electrical wiring tasks with accuracy and consistency
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment
Use ohmmeters and other measurement tools to verify electrical continuity and circuit functionality
Complete mechanical assembly tasks including fitting, securing, and machining components
Inspect completed assemblies for defects using visual and quality inspection standards
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot assembly or wiring issues
Accurately document assembly processes and traceability requirements
Proven experience in manufacturing or electronics assembly
Strong understanding of electrical wiring, schematics, and assembly processes
Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, calipers) and power tools
Electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of safety protocols
Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a plus
Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain quality standards
