Engineering Technician

We are looking for an Engineering Technician who can assist us in bringing our designs and ideas to life at Zorg North America.

As a key team member, you will produce accurate technical drawings according to the design instructions and specifications provided by our engineers, and other professionals. You will ensure that our projects are executed efficiently and in compliance with all internal and customer requirements.

Objectives of this role

• Collaborating with engineers and other professionals to understand project requirements and design concepts.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project-specific guidelines, relevant industry standards, regulations.
• Reviewing and modifying drawings as necessary to address design changes and and or customer requests.
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date library of drawings, plans and documents for easy reference per prescribed procedures
• Working closely with the design team to optimize time and accuracy.

Your tasks:

• Translate design concepts into extensive technical drawings.
• Conduct quality checks and validate the accuracy of drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance applications of drawn products.
• Assist in creating and updating bill of materials (BOM) and parts lists required for construction activities based on drawings.
• Communicate with project team members to clarify design specifications and resolve technical issues.
• Provide clear and concise documentation and annotations on drawings to aid project implementation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest CAD software tools and techniques to enhance your drafting capabilities.
• Manage production of 3-d printed parts and assemblies.
