Mechanical Engineer - Machine Design

Russ Hadick & Associates, Inc, a 44 year old Professional Search and Recruiting firm, has partnered with a northern Dayton client to help them search and qualify candidates for their Mechancial Enigneer with experience in automation and/or robotics. Mechanical Design Creation of complete mechanical design packages using Solidedge. Capable and comfortable self-managing complex mechanical designs: automation equipment, robotic weld fixture tooling, assembly equipment, test equipment, etc. Supports manufacturing during the assembly and debugging of their projects. Background Experience - Minimum 5 years of experience designing custom automation equipment and/or robotics. Excellent knowledge of mechanical and machining processes, purchased components, design and cost-saving practices, and ergonomics. Education A college degree in mechanical engineering is advantageous, but not required. Applicable machine design/robotics experience is more important.
