Field Service Engineer

Our client is one of the nation’s leading machine manufacturers and they are looking to hire multiple Field Service Engineers across all their regional territories in the United States (Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Northwest, South, Southwest). They need someone with 5+ years of experience working on 3‑5 axis CNC machines. This is a remote position but requires 50% travel.

Required Skills and Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience with machine installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Creating and updating documentation of technical information.
• Developing ongoing and ad‑hoc special reports pertaining to service.
• Building strong customer service relationships with customers.
• Advising factory engineers regarding equipment defects, customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvement.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
• Basic computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time to customer sites.
• Experience with FANUC or Siemens NX.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or trade school.
• Ability to foster long‑term relationships.

Compensation

• $80,000 – 90,000
• Overtime eligible
