Process Support Engineer REQ # L6929

Position: Process Support Engineer REQ # L6929 Location: Phoenix, AZ Duties: Drive the adoption of new technology at the customer site. Work closely with customers to demonstrate and introduce new technologies at customer sites, through Demos, on site evaluations, Joint Development Programs and new tool qualifications. Act as a technical lead for the companys Chemical Mechanical Planarization Products (CMP), co-work with customers to solve technical issues on Reflexion LK/LK Prime and Opta systems that stopped customers from production. Provide coaching and guidance on junior CMP process support engineers on tool knowledge, troubleshooting mindset, presentation skills, and customer communications. Summarize all tsmc N5/N4 learning from Taiwan and ensure 100% execution at customer fab site. Manage continues improvement program (CIPs) based on customer demand and served as a program lead within a cross functional group. Co-develop process demonstration (DEMOs) with customers on CMP tools to win market share. Travel required 15% both domestic and international. Requirements: Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Materials Engineering, Materials Science, or related field plus 5 years of experience in the role or a related position. This position also requires education or experience with each of the following: 1. CMP (Chemical-Mechanical Planarization/Polishing) research and process development. 2. Device Physics with experience on FinFET and nanosheets 3. FinFET (Fin Field-Effect Transistor) and Nanosheet (Gate-All-Around) (GAAFET) manufacturing and industry standards including CMP and metrology. 4. Optical detection systems and behaviors on know dielectric films used in semiconductor processing. 5. Principle of Chemical and Mechanical Planarization, polishing pad manufacturing flow.
