CNC Programmer

We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our team. This role is hands-on, requiring someone who can take a blueprint and turn it into a high-quality, precise finished part. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for writing and optimizing CNC programs, setting up jobs, and supporting production to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and G-code.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications to develop machining programs.
• Select appropriate tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Perform test runs, adjust machine offsets, and troubleshoot programming or machining issues.
• Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production personnel to ensure production goals are met.
• Maintain accurate documentation of CNC programs, revisions, and setup instructions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Mastercam and G-code programming.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, setups, and production methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
