Job Summary:
The Program Manager will oversee cardiac device management programs, ensuring efficient coordination and proper implementation of device reprogramming projects. This role involves collaborating with clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes and adhere to industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate cardiac device programming and reprogramming initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Monitor and review device data transmissions, identifying abnormalities and providing clinical recommendations.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, clinicians, and technical staff to support device management workflows.
- Maintain detailed documentation of programming activities and patient interactions within electronic systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry guidelines and clinical protocols, including Heart Rhythm Society standards.
- Stay current with advancements in cardiac device technology and programming techniques.
- Strong background with a minimum of 2+ years experience programming and reprogramming cardiac electronic devices.
- Proven expertise in working with implantable pacemakers, ICDs, and loop recorders.
- Familiarity with Medtronic, CareLink Express, and Boston Scientific device programmers.
- Demonstrated ability to review and interpret real-time device data accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and clinical assessment abilities.
- Certification such as Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) preferred.
