Software Engineer - Secret Cleared

SOFTWARE ENGINEER Full-Time Secret Cleared Hybrid (1 day in Arlington, VA office) Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000 annually REQUIRED Proficiency in at least one of: C#/.NET, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript Foundational understanding of RESTful API design and HTTP fundamentals Exposure to relational databases and basic SQL PREFERRED Experience with ASP.NET Core, Spring Boot, or NestJS Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines RESPONSIBILITIES Designed and built scalable RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core, Spring Boot, and NestJS, ensuring consistent patterns, strong consumer usability, and fully documented contracts through OpenAPI/Swagger. Modernized legacy .NET and Java applications by refactoring monolithic components into maintainable modules and microservices, and developing MuleSoft System, Process, and Experience APIs with robust DataWeave transformations, connector configurations, and fault tolerant error handling. Strengthened delivery quality by writing comprehensive unit, integration, and API tests (xUnit/NUnit, JUnit, Jest), maintaining reliable test data strategies, and contributing to automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. Implemented secure, observable, production ready services through OAuth2/OIDC authentication, RBAC, secure coding practices, and structured logging with distributed tracing and custom metrics using Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
