Senior Director, Backend Engineering

Job Description:

• Lead and evolve platform architecture and end-to-end delivery operations
• Own the technical vision for the platform and set standards for software delivery
• Champion integration of AI-powered development tools into engineering workflows
• Own and refine the engineering delivery lifecycle
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing organization of engineering managers and contributors

Requirements:

• 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience
• At least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing backend engineering or platform delivery teams
• Proven, hands-on experience deploying AI-enabled development tools
• Deep expertise in modern software architecture patterns
• Strong command of engineering metrics and a data-driven approach to process optimization
• Exceptional communication skills
