Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing

Experience: Minimum 3 years
License: NC or Compact license in hand
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Stroke Certification
Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred
Description:
Position available for a Medical Surgical Nurse.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and Stroke Certification.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6.
Experience in accessing and managing ports is needed.
Candidates must be skilled in bariatric surgery support and BiPAP/CPAP management.
Proficiency in blood product administration and bowel obstruction care is necessary.
Central line blood draws and chest tube management are required skills.
Candidates should have experience with colostomy/ileostomy care and continuous bladder irrigation.
Knowledge in managing cerebral vascular accidents and post-operative bariatric care is essential.
Understanding of telemetry monitoring is also important.
Ability to interpret arterial blood gases and manage dysrhythmias is critical.
Experience in trauma and renal failure management is preferred.
Skills in patient management following neurosurgery and thoracic procedures are required.
Understanding of wound care and management of surgical drains is necessary.
The facility supports various interdisciplinary health services, including therapy and pharmacy.
The patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics.
Daily census is approximately 30 patients.
Candidates should be flexible with scheduling, including weekends.
All applicants must be responsive during the compliance process.
