Lead Engineer ()

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm. Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science or a directly related field plus five (5) years of building/designing/supporting highly available web services. Experience must include: Five (5) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Java stack, including the Spring framework or JBoss. Three (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Understanding of distributed systems - performance bottlenecks, fault tolerance, and data consistency concerns. Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations. Experience with cloud environments and AWS to deploy and manage applications. Experienced in building microservices, implementing Cl/CD pipelines, and applying best practices for security, scalability and performance in AWS. Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing relational databases using PostgreSQL. Writing complex SQL queries, indexing strategies, performance tuning, and ensuring data integrity.
