Software Engineer (P6589)

Develop code for moderately difficult software projects and execute software deliverables. Design and implement bug fixes to support AIx products and ML capabilities for semiconductor wafer processing use cases. Design moderately difficult software projects. Develop software and software documentation for semiconductor research and development organizations. Troubleshoot a variety of moderately difficult software problems. Perform software tests on code and enhancements. Define software specifications. Interface with internal and external customers regarding software issues, requirements analysis, and schedule. Compile data for regularly scheduled or special reports, analysis and statements. Improve data loading and retrieval from database, data engineering to support analytics. Implement Machine Learning Algorithms as software modules. Implement GUI and analytics dashboard. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning & Data Science, or related field, and five (5) years of experience in any occupation in which data science or software development experience was gained. Alternately employer will accept, Masterss or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning & Data Science, or related field, and two (2) years of experience in any occupation in which data science or software development experience was gained. Experience or coursework must include: 1. Python, SQL, or Python-based ML Frameworks; 2. Data structure or Algorithm; 3. Agile software development methods; 4. REST or Fast API frameworks; 5. Understanding of machine learning concepts, technologies, or integration techniques including training, inferencing or MLOPs; 6. Understanding of containerization technologies Docker or container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes; 7. CD frameworks Argo or ClickHouse database.
