Description
We are looking for someone passionate about technology, privacy, and user experiences. Being able to work up and down the stack from the iOS experience layer, to system daemons running on HomePods and AppleTVs, to cloud and service integration will be key to being successful. You will be responsible for building novel infrastructure for Apple working closely with Security, Privacy and various cross-functional teams. You will be working in multi-functional environments with numerous teams. The position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills as well as an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Organization and project management skills are necessary for success. The ability to work as a teammate is significant, as this hands-on position requires multi-functional collaboration with engineers and leaders across domains. Experience leading a software development team, as well as a consistent track record of bringing products to market, are critical to this role.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience building and leading a strong and diverse team of engineers
- Successfully launched high quality consumer products
- Technical experience with native iOS development and solid computer science fundamentals
- Ability to make forward progress in the face of constraints and ambiguity

- Software architectural and design experience
- Consistent track record of timely project delivery and leading entire project life cycle

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,000 and $313,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
