Production Engineering Technicians

Employer: Dakota Storage Buildings, LLC Job Title: Production Engineering Technicians Job Location: th St. Milbank, SD 57252 Job Duties: Assist in developing manufacturing processes for production of shed framing components; Coordinate daily production activities, ensuring build accuracy and achievement of safety, quality, and productivity goals; Prepare production documents including standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, and visual work instructions to support production consistency and training operations; Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to identify waste, improve workflow, standardize operations, and lead process improvements across the production floor; Adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity, ensuring accuracy in cut-out and framing assembly; Participate in short-term structured improvement initiatives (Kaizen events) and root cause analysis discussions related to framing process defects; Collaborate with the production supervisor and operations team to identify and implement process improvements and ergonomic enhancements; and Monitor key metrics and production data to track progress and communicate results to stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or closely-related; 6 months of manufacturing experience.
