Job Description
Foreman
Well established electrical construction company looking for foremen in the Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point, NC areas for commercial and government work.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling work activities, determining material needs, coordinating work with general contractors
Install and repair electrical conduit, wire, equipment and fixtures
Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
Troubleshoot electrical and fire alarm systems
Oversee employee productivity to maintain budget
Organize and instruct work crews in their task assignments
Apply safety standards to work methods and adhere to all quality and safety codes
Apply National Electric Code requirements to all work
Qualifications:
Must have journeyman or master electrician certification.
Must be experienced and knowledgeable in commercial and industrial electrical work on military bases.
Candidate must be honest, dependable, self-motivated, have a positive attitude, be willing to learn, drug free, clean-cut and neat, and a US citizen
Able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, and possess good written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals and be able to interpret plans and specifications to layout and install electrical systems and devices
Must maintain attention to quality and detail, be highly productive and dependable
Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Must have required tools for trade, legal driver's license and transportation
Computer proficient in basic Word and Excel programs
