Responsibilities: Develop and Enhance Algorithms: Implement and refine perception and visualization algorithms to improve system performance. Leverage Computer Vision: Utilize computer vision and deep learning techniques to extract high-level insights from raw Lidar point clouds. Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and computer vision research, and actively participate in relevant scientific conferences. Create Proof-of-Concept Solutions: Apply deep learning and classical algorithms to automotive and industrial challenges, rapidly delivering proof-of-concept solutions. Requirements: Programming Proficiency: Strong fluency in Rust and Python. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field; Ph.D. is a plus. Algorithm Expertise: Proficient in computer algorithms and data structures. Machine Learning Knowledge: Deep understanding of machine learning principles and neural network architectures. Graphics and Vision: Basic knowledge of computer graphics and computer vision concepts. Technical Communication: Comfortable engaging with customer technical teams and providing effective support. The pay range for this role is $115,000 to $135,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
