The SolidWorks Designer will play a critical role in developing precise 3D models and CAD drafts for aerospace parts and industrial equipment within a small, focused design team. This position demands expertise in prototype development and design optimization while working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and CAD drafts of aerospace and industrial equipment components
• Conduct thorough design reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
• Develop prototypes and assist in testing design concepts
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for manufacturing and quality control
• Optimize designs for functionality, cost, and manufacturability
• Collaborate regularly with manufacturing teams to support production processes
• Maintain version control and update design files systematically
• Select appropriate materials based on project requirements and performance criteria

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in CAD design

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
