#934 - Python Developer (Infrastructure Automation)

Overview

Job Opportunity only available for residents in Colombia. We’re looking for a strong Python developer who has hands-on experience automating infrastructure and working closely with cloud and DevOps teams. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and improving infrastructure automation using Python and Infrastructure as Code practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation scripts and services
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools
• Work closely with DevOps, SRE, and platform teams to improve reliability and scalability
• Support CI/CD pipelines related to infrastructure and application deployments
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation workflows
• Contribute to improving infrastructure standards, security, and best practices

Required Skills And Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python development
• 2–3 years of experience in infrastructure automation
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts
• Experience with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and system fundamentals
• Experience working in DevOps or platform engineering environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Understanding of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Scripting beyond Python (Bash, Shell)
