Position Summary
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for producing high-quality machined parts using CNC Milling, Lathe, and Swiss Turn machines. This role involves machine operation, part inspection, tool changes, simple program edits, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for producing high-quality machined parts using CNC Milling, Lathe, and Swiss Turn machines. This role involves machine operation, part inspection, tool changes, simple program edits, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Milling, Lathe, and Swiss Turn machines under the direction of supervisors or team leads
- Load parts, operate machine controls, set offsets, perform simple edits, and change tooling as needed
- Perform deburring and secondary operations required for production
- Inspect and measure parts using hand measuring tools and document measurements on control charts
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and inspection documentation
- Monitor part quality and report any quality, safety, or equipment issues to management
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, quality personnel, and team members regarding production or quality concerns
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and ISO quality standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Ability to operate CNC Milling, Lathe, or Swiss Turn machines independently
- Ability to read blueprints and inspection instructions
- Experience using hand measuring tools and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 6 months to 1 year of related CNC machining experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
