CNC Operator Programmer

The CNC Operator Programmer will be an integral part of a small team, responsible for both programming and operating CNC machines such as lathes, milling machines, and routers. This role supports the production of small runs and custom or one-off parts, requiring a balanced mix of programming new parts and operating existing programs. The ideal candidate will ensure precision and quality through machine setup, blueprint reading, and rigorous quality inspections while adhering to safety and calibration standards.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines including lathes, milling machines, and routers
• Set up machines accurately for each production run
• Perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints for custom part production
• Ensure safety compliance during all operations
• Calibrate equipment to maintain precision and performance

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in CNC operation and programming
• Proficiency with G-code programming
• Strong skills in CNC machining and blueprint reading
• Experience with precision measurement tools
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail
