Software Development Specialist

Job Description:

• Design and ship integrations across core platforms (data warehouse, accounting, HRIS, case/practice tools, etc.)
• Develop internal and client-facing apps in the .NET ecosystem
• Ensure case management software (CMS) feed is cleared daily
• Complete all assigned tasks by relevant deadlines
• Document all relevant activity in CMS properly
• Ensure emails are cleared daily
• Design, implement, and maintain integrations between key firm systems
• Ship maintainable .NET web apps with clean architecture, strong authentication/authorization, and great UX
• Manage secrets, apply least-privilege access, instrument audit trails, and uphold privacy requirements for sensitive data
• Translate business workflows into technical designs; write specs, tests, and clear documentation; participate in code reviews
• Create and update documentation
• Drive/fly to secondary office locations as requested
• Attend regular meetings with the IT Team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or 4+ years of relevant experience
• Professional software engineering building production systems
• C# and .NET development including ASP.NET Core experience
• Building and maintaining REST APIs/integrations with third-party SaaS
• Experience with Git and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar)
• Front-end experience with Razor/Blazor or TypeScript and a modern JS framework with at least one shipped UI on the resume
• Experience working with relational databases, writing SQL or using an ORM
