Overview
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: USA, Remote
Contract: 6 months with possible for another 6 months
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Analyze mechanical problems and propose effective solutions
- Conduct testing and validation of mechanical designs
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements
- Collaborate with electrical, structural, and project teams
- Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Strong proficiency in CAD and engineering design tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
- Experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools
- Good understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of GD and T, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote setting
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience working in cross functional or distributed teams
