Pega Developer Lead

Job Description

1. Design and develop complex Pega BPM applications, business solutions by creating new and modifying existing Pega BPM applications.
2. Contribute as an individual Pega developer and guide the team when required.
3. Help translate requirements into user-stories and actively participate in the project lifecycle.
4. Work closely with SSA/SA/BA/Architects to ensure requirements are well documented and clear.
5. Provide appropriate status updates to lead/scrum master on a routine basis.
6. Actively participate in quality audits and code reviews from time to time.
7. Troubleshoot Pega application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks.
8. Maintain security of all supported Pega applications.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development with hands-on experience on PEGA PRPC (8.X).
2. Should have completed one complete Pega implementation leading from Design.
3. Strong experience in Application Performance and Security validation.
4. Experience as a Pega developer with a focus on application development, rule development, or process architecting.
5. Analyze Predictive Diagnostic Cloud (PDC) to check application health.
6. Hands-on experience with Pega tools like Pega Deployment Manager (PDM) and Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud (PDC).
7. Experience in enterprise-level system development with strong knowledge of industry-standard interface protocols (i.e., SOAP, MQ, HTTP, EJB, etc.).
8. Good understanding of software engineering practices and architecture guidelines.
9. Very good verbal and written communication skills. Basic understanding of US healthcare.
10. Well versed in Agile process.
11. Certification – CLSA Part 1/CLSA (Preferred) or CSSA (At least).
