Manager, Platform Engineering

Job Description:

• Lead Natera’s infrastructure as the Manager of Platform Engineering.
• Oversee Cloud Engineering, Orchestration and Kafka workstreams.
• Define and execute the roadmap for Cloud, Orchestration, and Kafka ecosystems.
• Ensure high internal satisfaction by treating the platform as a world-class product.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of engineers.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• 2-3 years in a leadership role managing high-performing teams.
• Proven track record of treating infrastructure as a product.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Expert-level knowledge of Kafka/MSK and orchestration services.
• Practical experience in applying AI techniques to streamline operational workflows.
• Self-sufficient and comfortable with ambiguity.
