Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Security Engineer - IAM to join their team. As a Security Engineer - IAM, you will be part of the Cybersecurity Department supporting the Identity & Access Management team. The ideal candidate will have proactive problem‑solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Security Engineer - IAM
Location: Remote in NC, SC, TN, GA, VA. If local to Raleigh, expectation is to come onsite for big meetings.
Pay Range: $52.00/hr
What's the Job?
- Perform operational support and maintenance of technical security solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Assist in the configuration and tuning of security tools and integrations with enterprise controls and tools.
- Participate in identification of service quality, documentation, and operational efficiency and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and serve as a resource for technical support of information security technologies.
- Mentor and collaborate with junior engineers to foster a knowledgeable and efficient team environment.
What's Needed?
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the identity and access management (IAM) space.
- Hands‑on experience with SailPoint and IdentityNow solutions.
- Understanding of core IAM principles such as authentication, authorization, provisioning, and access control.
- Basic scripting skills in languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation tasks.
- Strong communication skills to document processes and convey technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
