We are looking for a Web Developer to support a contract engagement focused on refreshing two company websites for an apparel business. This onsite opportunity is based in Kannapolis, North Carolina, and offers a flexible, project-driven work environment where results and design quality matter most. The role is ideal for someone who can combine strong front-end development skills with a sharp eye for user experience, especially within apparel or consumer-facing digital environments.


Responsibilities:

• Rebuild and enhance two separate company websites, creating modern, user-friendly experiences that align with brand goals.

• Develop and update web pages using WordPress or another suitable platform based on project needs and technical fit.

• Apply HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to improve site functionality, visual presentation, and responsive behavior across devices.

• Translate design concepts into effective website features that support usability, navigation, and overall customer engagement.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather input, present progress, and refine website updates throughout the project lifecycle.

• Review existing site content and structure, then implement improvements that strengthen performance, appearance, and accessibility.

• Manage project tasks independently in an onsite setting, keeping work organized and moving efficiently through completion.

• Share samples of previous work and apply relevant design experience to deliver a strong digital presence for an apparel-focused business.

• 2+ years of experience in web development or website design.
• Hands-on experience building or maintaining websites with WordPress.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development and customization.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to create intuitive, visually effective web experiences.
• Ability to work onsite in Salisbury, North Carolina for the duration of the project.
• Portfolio demonstrating completed website projects and overall design/development capabilities.
• Experience in apparel, athletic apparel, or similar consumer-focused branding environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET is a plus.
