Engineer, Transmission Planning ()

Eligible to telecommute from a home office within normal commuting distance of the Windsor, CT office 2-3 days/week. Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline plus five (5) years of engineering experience in the field of electric power systems operations, modelling, assessment or planning involving transmission planning. Will accept a Masters degree plus two (2) years of described experience. The stated experience must include any amount of experience with the following: Performing transmission planning work requiring the application of standard techniques and procedures. Utilizing complex software applications, especially PSS/E. Utilizing Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Leading and supporting meetings. Writing and presenting reports.
