Akkodis is recruiting for a Mechancial Design Engineer for a locomotive manufacturer in the Erie, PA area. This is an oniste contract position with a pay range of $60 hour to $70 hour, depending on education, experience and location. "Mechanical OR Structural Design Engineer with 5-8 yurs experience in steel structures design.
> Heavy gauge steel - 1/4 inch or thicker plate steel
> Steel used for ALL parts of a locomotive (locop) such as: cabin, railings, platfroms, cabin.... Any & All steel parts of a loco.
> Experience in design engineering of heavy gauge steel / welded steel.
> Exp with Finite Analysis
Perfect candidate would be "mid level".
Bachelors desgree in Mechanical Engineering
5-8 years experience
