Senior Quality Engineer

Overview

We’re partnering with a fast-growing fintech company building products that handle real money, real users, and real impact. They’re looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who can take full ownership of quality and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

This isn’t a “follow test cases” role. You’ll be the person raising the bar.

What You’ll Own

• End-to-end manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory)
• Ensuring payment flows and user journeys work flawlessly
• Deep dives into APIs and data validation (SQL)
• Logging and driving bugs to resolution via Jira
• Working closely with engineers + product to catch issues early
• Acting as the final gatekeeper of quality before release

What You Bring

• 5+ years in manual QA / software testing
• Experience in fintech, payments, or transaction-heavy systems
• Strong API testing skills (Postman or similar)
• Comfortable with SQL for backend validation
• Sharp eye for detail + ability to communicate issues clearly
• Thrives in a remote, fast-moving, no-hand-holding environment

Bonus Points

• Experience with PHP or web-based platforms
