Title: Learning Experience Designer

Job Details:

Global Professional Services Talent Development is seeking an experienced learning development professional to assist our team in designing, developing, and implementing learning experiences and programs for various practice areas that enable our employees to grow, develop, and contribute to company growth.

This role is responsible for ensuring the successful design and delivery of learning experiences for Global Professional Services, supporting talent development initiatives, and creating thought leadership content. As a trusted advisor to the business, the Learning Experience Designer applies deep program design and facilitation skills along with solid business acumen to develop innovative learning experiences that produce measurable impact and support a high-growth company's talent pipeline.

Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. Success involves partnering closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and stakeholders to define learning objectives and create impactful experiences.

Responsibilities:

  1. Consult with business stakeholders to understand and address development needs, ensuring alignment on strategy and content.
  2. Conduct needs assessments to determine training requirements and learning objectives.
  3. Design and develop instructional materials such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and performance support tools.
  4. Apply instructional design methodologies to create engaging and effective training.
  5. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  6. Identify expected impact and measurement processes with stakeholders.
  7. Drive continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and sustainment of content and experiences.
  8. Develop and maintain learning assets, curriculum, and talent development best practices aligned with organizational goals.
  9. Mentor colleagues and emerging designers, working closely with the creative team.
  10. Manage multi-stakeholder projects, including prioritization and delivering results.
  11. Stay current with new developments in instructional design, technology, and industry trends, applying these insights into deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  1. 2+ years of progressive Learning/OD/Leadership experience within large organizations.
  2. 5+ years designing development programs and courses across modalities, including face-to-face and online using various technologies.
  3. Deep knowledge of leadership and organization development, change theories, learning models, and assessment strategies, with a curiosity for emerging practices.
  4. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-output, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  5. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  6. Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
