The Snowflake Solution Engineering organization leads these efforts, working closely with customers to deploy capabilities that foster modernization. As the Sr. RVP of the Solution Engineering organization, you will lead a team of technical architects to drive strategic customer engagements and develop prescriptive architectures and frameworks to promote adoption of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. You will collaborate with Sales, GTM, Solution Engineering, Engineering, and Marketing teams to help customers transform their businesses with the AI Data Cloud. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Field Engineering Leadership
Drive strategic customer and partner engagements in partnership with Sales, Solution Engineering, and GTM teams. Build repeatable reference architectures and frameworks to accelerate well-architected deployments. Provide thought leadership in the AI Data Cloud across internal and external forums. Act as an escalation point for customers, sales teams, and product leadership. Contribute to product gap analysis and roadmap processes as the Voice of the Field with product and engineering teams. Ensure operational excellence with KPIs, compensation plans, etc. Collaborate with EMEA and APJ counterparts on best practices and approaches. People Management
Build and lead a team of world-class technical architects serving as core product introduction, evaluation, and education experts. Create career development plans, coaching processes, and activities to develop a high-performing team. Act as a player/coach, engaging in building reference architectures, solutions, and managing complex customer engagements with CDO, CTO, Enterprise Architects, etc. ON DAY ONE, WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
20+ years of industry experience in Data & AI engineering or technical solutioning, including 8+ years in leadership managing high-performing teams. Strong domain expertise in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, AI/ML, Gen AI, Cloud Computing, and SaaS Solutions. Experience building engineering infrastructure and processes to develop world-class reference architectures, frameworks, and solutions. Exceptional communication skills, capable of delivering compelling presentations to both technical and executive audiences—via whiteboards, demos, or formal presentations.
